Madaline Zannes is the Founder and Principal Lawyer of Zannes Law Firm, a modern corporate and commercial law firm built for founders, business owners, entrepreneurs, creatives, and growth-focused companies.
With over 20 years of experience in legal services and legal tech, Madaline brings together precision, business judgment, and a deep understanding of the industries her clients work in. Before founding Zannes Law Firm, she built her practice with leading downtown Toronto law firms and spent more than 15 years advising national and international law firms on legal technology, innovation, and modern legal operations.
Madaline advises clients on corporate and commercial matters, contracts, business structuring, technology, entertainment and media, sports, intellectual property strategy, and estate planning.
She is recognized for her work at the intersection of law, technology, AI, Web3, and emerging industries, and is a Founding Partner of the Metaverse Bar Association. Her work has been featured in MIT Technology Review, Forbes, WIRED, CBC Radio 1, Law360, The Legal Technologist, and PCounsel, among other outlets.
Her teaching and speaking engagements include the Law Society of Ontario, Osgoode Professional Development at Osgoode Hall Law School, the Singapore Academy of Law in collaboration with the Singapore Ministry of Law, and the Schulich School of Business. She has also served as an assessor for the Law Practice Program at the Lincoln Alexander School of Law.

Zannes Law Firm operates from offices in Toronto and Niagara-on-the-Lake, where it is the first business-focused law firm and housed within Haven: Niagara-on-the-Lake’s first coworking space for professionals, co-owned by her and her husband as a family business.
